The Gardens in August

In August, impatiens creates a vibrant river of color with a backdrop of ferns along the Redwood Walk. Nicotiana mutabilis, cestrum elegans, and salvia indigo spires attract hummingbirds in the Butterfly Garden. The White Garden is full and luminous in moonlight, filled with fragrant white "Dream" petunias, the spectacular Delphinium Galahad, and the Salvia Waverly. The Green Garden is a cool and quiet retreat, perfect for an intimate meeting or luncheon, with a beautiful arching Red River birch.
