A historic park and wildlife sanctuary, Piedras Blancas Light Station is a unique attraction set amidst breathtaking natural scenery. Tours are offered every day at 9:45AM, and no reservations are required.
Situated in a beautiful natural area on the California Coast, Piedras Blancas Light Station is one of the area's top attractions. Discover this unique lighthouse in-depth when you take a guided tour. Tours last about two hours, and include a half-mile of easy walking. Meet at 9:45AM at the former Piedras Blancas Motel, which is located about 1.5 miles north of the light station on Highway 1. Do not wait at the gate to the light station. Tours are available Monday through Saturday, except for federal holidays. No reservations are needed for groups of fewer than 10 people. Admission to a Cambria lighthouse tour costs $10 for adults, $5 for children ages 6-17, and free for children 5 and under. Wheelchairs and strollers are available by request, but pets are not allowed. In case of inclement weather, tours may be cancelled.
